Approval is a feature in Tracket that allows admins and team admins to review and approve your team’s weekly submitted timesheets.

Set approval

As admin you can set whether you want to work with approval of timesheets or not.
To set it up:
  1. 1.
    Go to period overview > settings > admin settings > approval process.
  2. 2.
    At approval settings, select Approval of timesheets on or Approval of timesheets off and save the change.

Who can approve timesheets?

The approval process in Tracket works best when you work with teams. One or more team admins can be designated per team. They can manage timesheets of their own team members. Team members can only submit their timesheets to their own team admins.
If you don't work with teams, employees can submit their timesheets to all admins. The admins are then responsible for approving the timesheets of everyone in the organization.

Setting up team admins

  1. 1.
    Go to period overview > settings > admin settings > people.
  2. 2.
    Click on the left on the team for which you want to set up a team admin.
  3. 3.
    In the permission column, select which user should be a team admin. Changes are saved immediately.
