Disabling/enabling values

What happens when a custom field value is disabled.

Something that is good to know is that when disabling a particular value, that value can still be the current value for existing issues. You can not disable this values created in the past. Disabling a value means you cannot pick that value for new issues.

To disable a value go through the following steps:

• Navigate to the project

• Go to Project settings

• Go to Custom field values

• Edit the custom field you would like to disable options for

• Press disable to disable an option

Note: When editing existing issues with the disabled value, you are forced to choose another value before you are allowed to save.

Enabling values

To enable a disabled value, go through the following steps:

• Navigate to the project

• Go to Project settings

• Go to Custom field values

• Edit the custom field you would like to enable options for

• Press enable to enable the option you have previously disabled.
